Installing Adhesive Self Tapping Inserts for metal is quick and uncomplicated, using only commonly available shop tools. The process begins by drilling a correctly sized hole, followed by tapping with a standard tap to prepare the threads. After preparation, the insert can be driven into place using a flathead screwdriver, a bolt with a jam nut, or a dedicated installation tool if required.

Once installed, the factory-applied adhesive is activated and cures rapidly, allowing the insert to accept a fastener within 3–5 minutes.
